Websites that get found.
Custom WordPress built from scratch, then the work that actually brings people to it — technical SEO, content, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Local Services Ads. I build the site and I stay on it afterwards. Eight years, mostly in Los Angeles.
Selected work
Law firms, consumer services, media and a photography studio. Every one custom built — most still managed. Open any card for the detail.
What clients say
We came to Sevag with a site that couldn’t compete for anything except our own firm name. He rebuilt it from scratch and structured the whole thing around how people actually search for a defense attorney. The dashboard he added means I can see our leads and our calls without having to ask anyone for a report.
Most people who call us are panicking and don’t know the legal term for what’s happening to them. Sevag built the site so they can say what their situation is in plain words and land on the right page. He explained his own work the same way, which I appreciated more than I expected to.
Our old site was slow and nobody in the office could change a word without calling someone. Sevag fixed both. It loads noticeably faster now and our staff updates the content themselves without any hand-holding.
What I do
A whole build and everything after it, or just the piece that isn't working.
WordPress development
Custom themes and editor screens written by hand in PHP — no page builders, no plugin sprawl, nothing that breaks the week after an update.
Technical & local SEO
Site structure, page speed, internal linking and the local signals that decide whether you appear when someone nearby searches for what you sell.
Content & content architecture
Pages planned around real search demand and written to answer the questions your customers actually type, then structured so the site still makes sense at 50 pages or 500.
Structured data & AI search
JSON-LD across every content type so Google, and now ChatGPT and AI Overviews, can read what you do, where you do it and what you charge.
Google Business Profile
Claiming, cleaning and actively running the profile — categories, services, photos, posts and reviews. For most local businesses this outranks the website itself.
Google Ads & PPC
Search campaigns built around the terms that convert rather than the ones with the biggest volume, with conversion tracking wired up properly so you know what a lead costs.
Local Services Ads
Getting you through Google Screened or Guaranteed verification and managing the LSA budget, lead disputes and response times that keep your ranking in the pack.
Ongoing care
Updates, backups, security, speed and monthly reporting. I don't hand over a site and disappear — most of the sites here I have run for years.

About
I build WordPress the hard way — by hand, in PHP — because sites assembled out of page builders and a dozen plugins tend to get slower, stranger and harder to fix every year they exist. A theme written from scratch does what it was designed to do, and keeps doing it.
But a site nobody finds is just an expensive brochure, so the build is only half the job. The other half is search — structure, speed, content, schema — plus the things that actually drive local business: a Google Business Profile that's properly run, search ads aimed at terms that convert, and Local Services Ads when the vertical supports them. Most of my clients I've handled end to end for years rather than handed over and left.
Day to day I'm also a web developer on the localization team at CrowdStrike, handling product and service pages in European languages, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese for one of the busiest cybersecurity sites in the world. I speak English, Arabic and Armenian — in Los Angeles that has been useful more than once.

Common questions
The things businesses ask before they hire anyone. Answered the way I'd answer them on a call.
Do you only work with law firms?
No. Law firms are where a lot of my work has come from, but the same approach applies to any business that needs to be found — consumer services, media, studios, trades. The site and the search work do not change much by industry; what changes is the language and the terms people search with.
What does a website cost?
It depends on how much is custom and how much content has to be built. A focused rebuild on an existing content base is a different project from a new site with several hundred pages. After a short call about scope I will give you a fixed number, not an hourly estimate that drifts.
Do you only build, or do you keep running it?
I keep running it, and that is the part most people actually need. Updates, backups, security, speed, content, rankings, Google Business Profile and ad budgets. Most of the sites in my portfolio I have managed for years, not handed over and left.
Do we own the site when it's finished?
Yes. The theme, the content, the domain, the hosting account and the ad accounts are all yours. There is no license, no monthly platform fee paid to me, and nothing that stops working if we part ways.
Can our staff update it without a developer?
That is the reason I build the editing screens by hand. Each content type gets its own form with the right fields, so adding a service, a case result or a team member means filling in a form rather than fighting a page builder.
Do you handle Google Ads and Local Services Ads too?
Yes, and they work best alongside the site rather than instead of it. Search campaigns built around terms that convert, conversion tracking wired up properly so you know what a lead costs, and Local Services Ads including Google Screened verification, lead disputes and budget management.
What about Google Business Profile?
For most local businesses the profile drives more calls than the website does. I claim it, clean up the categories and services, keep photos and posts current, and make sure the profile, the site and the schema all describe the business the same way.
Will we show up in ChatGPT and AI answers?
Answer engines read structured data and clean semantic markup, which is what I build anyway. JSON-LD on every content type, headings that describe what is actually on the page, and content written around the questions people ask give you the best chance of being the source they cite. Nobody can guarantee placement, and anyone who does is selling something.
